Apply: 2022 Asian American Peer Coaching Circle

PROGRAM COMPONENTS: 1 weekend-long training (Fri-Sun), followed by monthly peer coaching group calls for 6 months.

The Peer Coaching Circle will kick off with a training from Friday, April 8 – Sunday, April 10, 2022. This training will introduce and teach peer coaching skills, and connect the new coaching group of organizers. We are planning to hold the training in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area but will continually make assessments and adapt based on public health needs.
We will share updates and our final decision about the training format in March.

Following the training, participants will be split into smaller groups, or pods. Each pod will convene over a two-hour conference call once a month to peer coach. In each session, time to give and receive coaching will be split amongst all participants. There will be a pod facilitator for each pod, and everyone will receive time to be coached and coach others. Monthly sessions will take place starting May 2022 – October 2022.

WHO SHOULD APPLY: Young (18 to 34 year old) Asian American (paid or unpaid) organizers connected to grassroots communities! There is limited space available. Priority will be given to participants who can make the time commitment. If you are interested but have questions about requirements, email us!

Participants’ organizations are asked to pay a fee of $250. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The Asian American Peer Coaching Circle is a project of Seeding Change.

APPLICATIONS DUE: Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 11:59 pm PST. Participants will be accepted on a rolling basis.
